I just made some Vintage Inspired Wine Bags. I must say I was pretty impressed when I finished making these wine bags. I used a vintage barkcloth fabric and vintage trim. I then added some flowers, each of them unique and different, using vintage buttons and jewels. The wine bags make a great Christmas gift, filled with a favorite wine, Italian soda, Sparkling Cider. What a perfect morning to get up and do some treasure hunting...The fun thing about it is that you never know what you might find.

Everyone loves a cute little end table. Sometimes it's the perfect accent piece of furniture that really adds to a room.

I know that when I have friends over, I love to create an atmosphere. How fun will this metal ware bowl be. Turquoise and black theme party.

Great glass vanity jar with lid. Perfect to use to hold your jewelry, spare change or even to use in your office as an organizer.

I just had to get this antique game. I just loved the cover of it. I'm not sure what type of game it is, but I'm sure that a collector of games will enjoy it.

How fun are alphabet block. You can leave daily messages for your self or to share with others.

I just love silver. It just adds a bit of elegance even to most casual setting.

We all love flowers to brighten up our homes. This wonderful silver plated cone you can hang some flowers from your door handle or in a window.

I don't usually buy vintage baby clothes, but I fell in love with this vintage baby jacket. It just has wonderful detailing.

Vintage clothes are hot. This is a must have fun skirt. Hand made square dancing skirt.

One of my favorites are vintage flamingo figurines. This one is circa 1930-40. I rarely see a yellow one.

New Vintage Treasures

Today I did my usual Saturday morning treasure hunt. I found some fabulous pieces at the estate sales.

With the 70's making a big fashion trend this fall, what is more 70's then this purple suede choker. I just love the gold metal squares on the choker. It is adjustable, so it will fit just about any size neck. This fun hip piece will be available at Pangaea Outpost in Pacific Beach, which is located on the corner of Garnet and Bayard.

Love the turquoise color. This is two oxford stoneware mixing bowls. Made in the USA in Cambridge, Ohio. Circa 1930.

The larger bowl is 8" and the smaller bowl 7". Pick up these great mixing bowls at Carlsbad Village Antique Mall on State Street.

Need something to pack that romantic evening picnic in the park. This vintage handwoven picnic basket is just what you need. Pack your wine and cheese and a blanket, and you're ready to listen to jazz on the green.

Carlsbad Village Art & Antique Mall

I thought I would give you a sneak peak at some of the treasures I sell. Some items I create and some I re-create.

Photo above is a vintage chair that I repainted and recovered. The fabric I use is Amy Butler. I love using her fabric because it is fun, vibrant with that vintage flair. This chair would be the perfect chair to bring life to a room.

If you love to create and do altered art, you will find lots of items which would be perfect for that special unique project. The photo above is old bing cards and all I did was add a papaya sticker on it. I do sell both items. Just think of the endless things you can make with just an old bingo card.

Treasure hunting is one of my favorite things to do. The oil painting is from the 1940's, but would be a great piece of art mixed in with a little modern flair. I especially love to find old vintage crystal light fixtures. They just sparkle when they are all lit up.

This great old chair is a chair I repainted. How adorable it would be as an office chair or accent chair.

Love, love, love old doors. They are perfect just leaning on a wall. You can also convert it into a chalk board or even a photo board. The hand carved candle holder would look wonderful sitting on the dining room table. I like to take a cluster of different hand carved candle holders and just light them all up.

Here are a couple of items that I make. The pink wood is a photo box that I built and painted. It comes with clips so that you can clip your favorite p photo's. I also love taking old frames and turning them into photo holders. The one pictured has Amy butler fabric in the back ground.

Here I refinished an old sewing machine table, by the way, they make great accent table.

Sweet Dream is an old lucky jean denim sign. I just love the names for their denim. Also they sit in a vintage record stand, which I converted into a paper holder.

I finally got to go out and go treasure hunting. I drove and drove with no luck. Finally I thought, ok, I will drive down one more street. I saw a sign that said "Garage Sale, Cute Stuff". I thought what the heck, and I was glad I stopped. I found these wonderful items.

I got this wonderful chandelier, which will look great all lit up or you can even hang it outside with some candles in it.

With summer finally here, what a fabulous hat. This hat is just the right accessory piece with your fun summer dress. Just in time for the races.

Vintage Modern Couch

Throwback 70's couch. If you are into modern vintage...you will love this white vinyl retro couch. It is 6ft. long and 31" deep. It is from the 70's...or at least the upholstery job was done then. Very clean and almost perfect condition, considering it is at least 40 years old.

You can't even find a couch that is as well made and the upholstery job must have been a custom job, because it is very well done. It has industrial wheels on the bottom to give it that loft feel. If your decorating taste is modern, urban-anthropologie, vintage modern with a touch or repurposed wood you will love this couch. It is for sale for $475.00. Contact info is dgasio@cox.net.

So I found a new place for inspiration. Ran by a bunch of wonderful gals who loves to create the most fabulous treasures. If I could hang out here all day I would.

Urban barn has a variety of vendores which are all artist. The take old and new a give it a whole new life. If you need something unique and made with love...this is the place to go.

The hot thing for accessorising is these large roses. You can wear them in your hair, around your neck or even on your top. I just couldn't pass up buying one of these wonderful big rose necklaces.

You'll also find many other hand crafted one of a kind jewelry. If I could buy one of each I would. I'm sure eventually I will.

Many unique solder bottle art. Remember not to throw your old junk away....You can always give it new life. It's the art thing to do.

What every girl needs is a rhinestone crown cuff and a birthday crown to make everyday a special day. I couldn't pass these up. I will be selling these lovlies in Panagaea in Del Mar.

While I was there I signed up and took one of there many art classes they hold in their Urban Barn Art Cafe. I took this wax on canvas class. It was lots of fun, Tricia Samsal from Vintage Bliss came all the way from Arizona to teach this class. We started out with a blank white canvas and this is what we created by the end of the class.

You'll find frames adorned with shells, crosses made of drift wood decorated with shells...you can create a whole beach cottage look in one stop. You'll even find natural wood decor.

I love the silver starfish solder on bottles. Very elegant....don't forget...shells galore.

This clients booth is Paris inspired. You will find Cavalini paper products which is one of my favorite vintage inspired paper lines.

Crowns, Eiffel Towers, Birds and many more. You will find a wonderful selection of home decor. I musn't forget this vendor also sells the most amazing gourmet popcorn.

This vendor makes and creates the most wonderful vintage button line. She has rings, cuffs, hand knit cuffs wish vintage jewels.
This vendor is also at the Pangaea in Del Mar.

Now I lay me down to sleep....wonderful soft plushy toys, vintage inspired toys, and everything lace for the sweet princess.

This is a new design for Marianna's. Swarovski Crystal Crown with a chunky silver chain.

Pangaea Outpost Del Mar

I've been working on this big project in Del Mar. I do freelance visual merchandising and some of my clients are in Pangaea Outpost in Pacific Beach. Pangaea expanded and opened up a new store in Del Mar at the Flower Hill Mall off of Via De La Valle. I was a part of the store planning and design of the store. Lots long hours went into the preparation of Pangaea Outpost. I had a wonderful assistant who also played a big part in the preparation. Without my assistant MS I would have still been working. Pangaea Outpost in Del Mar has 40 different vendors, so it is like 40 different shops under one roof. Stop by Pangaea Outpost in Del Mar to see the wonderful selection of merchandise and how beautiful the store turned out.

One of my favorite is the Argentinian Sweaters. They are all hand made in Argentina. All one of a kind and beautifully made.

There are a few local artist. One of the artist sells her wonderful hand painted bowls and art. Tyler sells very cool-edgy art. They are print on canvas and also framed art.
One of the shops sells talavera pottery from Mexico, wonderful furniture and wrought iron.
Cohabitat sells India inspired merchandise. Owner Ramu gets his textiles and furniture custom made in India. Cohabitat carries a wide selection on incense, statues, papya cards, belly dance jewelry, accessories, books, sari wall hangings, pillows, curtains, canopies, and bedspreads.
If you love Mermaids you will love the Mermaid shop. Everything you can imagine under the sea.

Must have handcrafted bags. Great for putting your groceries in, beach, extra travel bag.
Beautiful handcrafted/hand painted in Indonesia-wood masked and carved figures.
Bright and colorful tie dyed baby clothes and accessories.
APB-American Pig Brand. A local clothing line out of Pacific Beach. Very hip urban wear T's, sweatshirts, jackets, bags and belts.

Must see the bath/body/spa shop. Large selection of lotions, candles, wash, soap and novelty gift/spa items.
Satori clothing. Very sophisticated yet trendy clothing from Europe.
There is also a shop which carries womens clothing from Brazil. Very chic.

Plum Pudding which use to be located on Cedros in the designer district of Salona Beach is now in Pangae. Betsy sell vintage inspired merchandise.
Pangaea sells wonderful hand painted glasses and edgy books. Both make wonderful gifts for the person who has everything.

Pangaea Outpost Del Mar turned out very beautiful. Still some fine tuning and also spaces are still available. Grand opening is Thursday December 17th from 5-8. Come out and enjoy wine, food and live entertainment. Must come out to get the Pangaea experience.

New Jewelry by Marianna and KBD Designs for sale at Pangea Outpost in Pacific Beach, California

So I went to Los Angeles to my favorite Swarovski crystal jewelry store-Marianna's. They handcraft all their jewelry right there in the back of their store. Marianna designs jewelry for Disneyland and many celebrities.

Marianna had many new pieces since I was last there. Love the two gun pendant. It hangs on a short medium chunky chain. Great piece to throw on with just a v-neck t and your favorite jeans.

Cross cuff. It has a chain in the back to keep the cuff attached. This is a great chunky piece and the cross of course is embellished with swarovski crystals.

Gold heart and wing necklace. The gold swarovski crystals are so sparkly in this piece. The picture does not do it justice.

This cross is embellished with turquoise swarovski crystals. I think this piece is very western looking. Love the vibrant color on the vintage metal.

Big Black Pendant surrounded by swarovski crystals. My niece picked this piece out and it has gotten many compliments from friends. The cross on the right is embellished with amber swarovski crystals. This is a large cross and the metal is an antique gold.

Cross on the left is an iridescent black swarovski crystals on gun metal. Medium in size and hangs from a great choker-swarovski's all the way around. Stunning piece. The piece on the right is diamond in color swarovski crystal necklace on a gun meta.

Marianna had a bunch of new cameo styles it was hard to pick from their selection. Love their crowns. This crown is all done up in green swarovski crystals.

Came home from L.A. and there was my order from KBD Designs. KBD Deisgns handcrafts their jewelry and are out of Hollywood which makes it even more unique Above are two of their new designs the bird and the butterfly. Each piece is surrounded by swarovski crystals.

Love this new line a lot. It reminds me of the whole mechanical steam punk look. The piece above is called Members Only.

Two more from their new line. The necklace on the left is called Flights of Fancy and the necklace on the right is called Eagle Inspiration.

A couple more new pieces I picked up in LA by BB Simon. The keys are embellished with swarovski crystals and hang from a long sued cord.

These crowns are so cute. The are also embellished with swarovski crystals and hang from a short ball chain.

I finally received some of the new product I ordered at the LA Gift Show. I found this cute new paper line by My Favorite Things.

Loved the little houses. They are a kit that you build yourself. You can add your own personality and alter it up a bit once you've built the basics. Great gift for a special friend.

Here's a peak at the jewelry that I will be selling at Pangea Outpost in Pacific Beach, California. Pangea is located off of the 5 freeway going south. Take the Garnet exit and head toward the beach. Pangea Outpost was voted number 1 on the A list for top store in San Diego County. There are over 100 vendors there all different and unique merchandise. People from all over come there to shop.

This altered art piece is made by Miss Vicky of California. All my jewelry are handcrafted and designed by different artist in the USA. Most of them are made in California.

This jewelry line is by TWIGS of San Clemente, California. This designer takes vintage inspired charms and oxidizes them to give it an old antique look to them. She wires each bead by hand, using crystals and pearls.

I just love the sparrow on this piece with the added bling.

This piece is a vintage inspired metal bracelet. On the top of each bracelet is vintage embellishments. Each piece is a one of a kind.

Above is crystal chain bracelets with the vintage inspired charms. Great pieces to accessories with just a pair of jeans and top. Throw on those boots or Strappy sandals and there you go walking in style.

I fell in love with this line when I was at the fashion mart in LA. This line is by Original Sin of Arizona. This designer takes vintage keys and hand wraps them with sterling silver wire and then oxidizes them to give it that antique look.

The jewelry line below is by My Mothers Buttons of Edmonds, Washington. This designer uses vintage buttons dated as far back as the early 1900's. Each piece is unique.

To the left is a vintage button watch pendant. What a great fashion piece and the watch does work. To the right is a Vintage Horse Brad. In the old days the old horse brads were mounted on the side of the horse's bridal so that you knew who the owners were. I have a piece and I get compliments all the time on it. A must have piece. Great to wear with anything.

Vintage button single chain bracelet.

I love this jewelry line. I purchased it when I went to the LA fashion mart. This jewelry line is by Mon Bijou of California. The designer is originally from France and moved to the USA, then starting her own jewelry line. What's great about her company is that a percentage of her sales she donates to Pablo's Friends. An organization which houses street orphans.

Each piece is made of metal which is lead free and never needs to be cleaned. It is a very modern artsy line. Lots of great detail.

My trip to Colorado with old friends

I went to Denver, Colorado back in June. Reunited with some old high school friends I haven't seen in like 30 years. I must say that Denver was the most amazing city. I was so impressed, I've never been there so I didn't know what to expect. I am sharing photo's of my trip through my eye. I took photo's and just gave them my touch.

Life is Art...This journey with friends has been my inspiration.

So my friend Marlene is why we went to Colorado. She lives there. I took this photo of this biker bar in a little town just outside of Red Rock. Marlene by the way is the one on the Harley with her friend Mark. Our other friend Dave is on the bike. The rest of the crew in the photo are just random people who got lucky enough to be pasted in....

Denver has the coolest old buildings and architecture. The building in the background I believe is the capital. At least I think that's what my friend Marlene said. With me in this photo is my buddy Mark.

Whoever this artist was I just loved their paintings. We went and had dinner at this quaint little winery/restaurant. I loved it...you can just plop in a corner on a couch and just sit there and eat and drink. My kind of place. In the back there was all this really cool art and this is one of them. The photo of the girls and I was taken in Red Rock. Mark will you go out with me? Yes-No-Mabey. This totally reminded me of grade school and jr. high. Silly girls.

We had to stop at this bar-only because it is the only bar left in Denver where you can smoke(yes I know a bad habit I need to quit.) We also heard they made the best drinks. This one is a vodka shot(don't remember the fancy name) It has leamon, sugar, vodka, and mabey something else but it was delish..

The one think that I did notice in Denver was all the art and sculptures everywhere. I loved just walking around the city-taking photo's.

In this photo above is Marlene our hostess and her friend Mark. Our first night in town.

This is a photo of Mark at Red Rock. I have never seen so many big red rocks in my life. There was the most amazing amphitheater there surrounded with red rocks. I hope that the next time I'm there I have the opportunity to see a concert there. Dave Byrne from Talking Heads was playing there the night we were there, wished I could have went, that would have been a great concert.

My latest solder art creations. When I went to Colorado with friends I purchased these great old bottles. I used them in my latest solder art creations. These bottles are available for purchase at Ever After Scrapbook Store in Vista, California.

This creation is Love Art-Key to Life. I used old book pages, Artchix images (which I do sell at Ever After Scrapbook Store) Alcohol Inks, Crown Tickets(another great item I sell at Ever After Scrapbook Store), rubbons and stamps which I have found over the years.

This next Live Art-Key to Life, is Live Outside the Bubble. Always step out of the box and explore. Try new things-art is not perfect, it's the imperfection that makes it art. I've also used vintage chandeliere pieces which I find at estate sales and oblong glass. All soldering tools and glass are available at Ever After Scrapbook store. Here I altered some old cigar boxes and covered them with fabric and did some of my vintage painting techniques to give it a dirty old look and embelished it with many of my found treasures.

Save everything never throw away-you never know when you might want to use it.

Well I haven't had any new product come in lately so I finally placed an order for some new fun things. These items should be available by the end of next week. I have received some new items which will be in by this weekend at Ever After Scrapbook Stores.

Creative way to dye Easter Eggs

My girlfriend and I got together to dye Easter eggs. Usually I like to just color them and throw them in a basket but they wanted to decorate them so the challenge was on. I used rubbons from my friend Marah Johnson's line and stickles glitter glue. I impressed myself when we were done at the end of the evening. I thought crazy I don't decorate eggs.

I have these great sterling silver ring bases by Nunn Design. Above I just glued a vintage button on the top of it and there you go and instant one of a kind funky ring. You know I will be sporting this ring. Bling Bling.

Another great vintage button I picked up at a flea market and turned it into a ring. Vintage button jewelry is really hot right now.

Pictured are the Patera Findings Pendant in the two finishes which are available. Assorted shapes and sizes are available. I also sell a great Paris collage sheet which has an assortment of images made for the pendants. Use the easy cast on top of the images and there you go you have a unique piece of jewelry.

The vintage clothes pins are great items to use in projects. You can mount them upside down and use them to hold photo's/collages. drill holes in them and string them with bailing wire and mount in an old frame or even use in a photobox-their use is endless-step out of the box and get your funk on.

Antique Warehouse booth #71

Check out all the cool treasure you can find in mine and my partener Cindy's booth (#71) at the Antique Warehouse on Cedros in Salona Beach, California.

One of my newest treasure is the vintage metal typewriter table. It is refinished in a steel blue color-very anthropologie looking-great addition in your office or to use for your lap top. It has wheels so you can roll it around anywhere.

Cindy found this great vintage crystal chandeliere. Looks great hanging just about anywhere. The painting is an original Kenny Vares Painting. Vares was a known artist in San Francisco back in the early 50's and 60's. He mainly did bronze sculptures and his paintings were very unusual.

The bathtub series was one of Kenny Vares popular series along with his cowboy series. In our booth you can find a variety of Kenny Vares paintings and sculptures. The Paris sign is hand painted and aged to give it a vintage look. Great hanging in your paris appartment.

Check out the cool Vintage purses Cindy picked up on her trip to Oakland, California. The one on the left is a vintage brocade carpet bag. The detail and color is much better in person. Love the vintage owl purse. It has lots of great detail and bling.

Diaper Cake for Princess Reeoh

Diaper Cake I made for my grandaughter Reeoh

I photoshopped this photo by adding layers I purchased off of http://www.designerdigitals.com/
I also took some of my own photo's to use in layering and copied and paste my grandaughter face on the body of a victorian baby photo. Final process I sanded the sides of the photo with with a nail file to give it a vintage look and added vintage german embellishement I picked up at an estate sale and blinged it up with some stickels glitter glue and swarvoski crystals.

I used my friend Marah Johnson's die cuts she designed and glittered up the flower with Martha Stewart glitter and stickels glitter glue and dotted them off with some swarvoski crystals.

For the back ground of the birds I took some ribbon and did a quick stich to gather the ribbon and tied it up to make the ribbon circular.

Asian Woman original oil painting. Circa 1940-unsigned but it is done by that same artist as the other paintings are done by. Artis is Esther Anderson

Two more original oil paintings by Esther Anderson. One of the paintins has the year 1946 underneath the name. The oil paintings are much more vibrant in real life. Great pieces to layer in your home if you have a modern look-asian look-and even the old hollywood regency look.

This I thought was an interesting gadget. It is some sort of tool but I thought it would be really cool to display old family photo's

Above left is a crystal craft. Beautiful piece to house your fine wine and liquors. Above right is a vintage glass light cover. Imagine how much it would sparkle using for a tealight holder. Hang on a chain and you have a hanging lantern.

Above left is a vintage silever butlers sweeper. Used to brush crumbs off the table. Very old you can tell by how the silver has turned a verde green which adds much character to this great little piece. Above right is a vintage crystal wall light fixture. Add a cute little lampshade and some chandeliere pieces there you go-so Anthropologie.

Above left is a vintage black iron candle holder which holds the skinny candles (green candles pictured are included with this candleholder) Above right is a vintage white Haeger planter. Imagine some colorful spring flowers sitting in this vintage white Haeger planter on your table which is draped with a beautiful vintage linen. Got the vision.

Above left is a small vintage easel for holding small art, old family photos, vintage plates, or even your art projects. Above right is vintage molds. In the photo you can see how I used it as a base for the fairy form I made. It's not just for food. Great for using as organizers, art projects-the uses are enless. Another shabby chic bird house I sell. The picture in the back ground I made by taking a frame and using scrapbook paper as the background. I also used rubbons on the top of the glass and gems. I took some old cardboard to cut out the letters. Finish touch was soldering all around the frame

Time to organize those spring photo's. Lots of new wood books by Kaiser Kraft.

I took an old vintage lamp shade frame and hung paper flowers from twine. The paper flowers I hand cut 3 different sizes and added some glitters and used brads in the center

The finishing touch was hanging vintage chandelieres at the end of the twine.

Photo Boxes

I finally finished making my photo boxes which are now available at Ever After Scrapbook Store. I have two sizes available. The large you can double hang photo's and the small is single hung. The large photo boxes has a bold decorative design on each corner and is available in green and white for now. I do have a black available but I ran out of clips.

The small photo boxes are available in black, white, and green all with an aged finish and small scrolly decorative paint on the corners

The small photo boxes have the scrolly design. Each box is hand painted, aged and built my me. They look great when you hang them in a grouping with all your family photo's and memorbillia's.

Memory Frames

The memory frames are now in and for sale at Ever After Scrapbook Store. You can find the square and the 1x3 long frame in the silver and antique copper finish. I packaged them with the glass so that you don't have to worry about trying to get glass for the frames(usually they are only sold with the frames) Great to make necklace pendants, ornaments or even to adorn your altered book.

Pictured above are samples of what you can make with the memory frames. All the samples are using the Artchix images which I do carry at the Ever After Scrapbook Store. It is fun and unique to add your own photo's to make a special personlized gift.

Vintaj

This is a sample I made for Ever After Scrapbook Store so that you can get an idea of what you can do with the new Vintaj line I carry at Ever After Scrapbook Store. You can create something simple of create something chunky-personalize it to your style. The Vintaj line is also a great item to use in your altered book projects to add texture.

Here I added sample of the Vintaj charms to the hoop. I used a rub-on on the circle altered blank. You can also adhere paper to the blanks and to give it a vintage look use the ranger crackle paint. You can also use metal stamps personalize the blanks.

The butterfly is from Vintaj and I have it hanging between the Vintaj hoop. You can also use the hoop to make a bracelet.

To give it my own style I added vintage buttons and vintage charms from old jewelry that I pick up when I'm out treasure hunting. The dragonfly is from Vintaj-you can also bend the wings a create a ring or wrap the dragonfly around the altered blanks from Vintaj.

I took a clear glass rock (dollar tree $1.00 for a bag) and added an image from the new Art Chix transparency to the under side. I use something similar to diamon glaze to glue the image to the back. I added a metal filigre flower from vintage a wrapped it from the back for texture.

Here is the latest vintage treasure that I added to my etsy shop. Below is a vintage table runner. I think the colors are great for beach cottage look. Turqoiese and green are both great colors for this spring/summer.Gold chain belt. What a great piece of accessory to throw on with a long T or cototn tunic.

Moire Taffeta jacket. Great piece to have when you go to your next coctail party.

Black gauze halter dress. Summer's on it's way and every girl needs a gauze halter dress to wear to the beach or on a hot summer day.

I love the details on this dress. It is suede and leather. It reminds me of a cowboy boot. Wouldn't this look stylish with some tall brown boots.

This sweater is so warm and cozy looking isn't it. Must be because it rained today. The stripes on this carigan are very vibrant and I just love big buttons. This sweater reminds me of a vintage surf look.

Check out the new jewelry line I purchase when I was at the LA gift show. It is a tattoo line and all the images are from the original art work. Everybody loves tattos-I do-if you don't want it on your body at least you can wear it.

The images above are by tattoo artist Hannah Aitchison of LA INK. I will be selling bracelets and necklaces. Hopefully they will be here in about 2 weeks. Can't wait they are so much cuter then the photo.

The graphics on this jewelry line is by tattoo artis Christopher Wright. This line is very color and very 40's vintage looking. Makes you want to go out and get a tattoo-right-or at least you it.

Today I made these altered art solder glass pendants. I know I'm suppose to be working on another project for someone else (whom I wont mention in case she reads this blog.) I thought they turned out pretty cute. I used old maps, books, scrap paper anything I could find and images from Marah Johnson's line. I added a little vintage charm to them to give each piece indiviuality. They do have images on both sides. The first few are the fronts.

The bottom half are the back side.

Faux Fur Leopard Print Jacket

My latest treasure I found this weekend. This is a crushed faux fur leopard print jacket. It has lace and satin ribon trim-very well done by Tracy Feith an Australian surfer turned designer. This jacket ( I was told by the seller) it was worn to a red carpet event by one of the actresses of Sex In The City. She couldn't name names but I did find a ticket to France in the pocket. The sellers daughter works on many movie sets as a designer. I have listed this in my etsy shop-Eclectik Funk (click on it on the right column) you can also see more items I have for sale.

My new product came in, so I set it all up today. This is a new vendor for me and I am so pleased with the quality of the merchandise and the price point not to mention it is so cute.

Above is the 4x6 wire frame which is great for showing off your art projects and old photos. You can also add vintage treasures to it to give it an eclectik collagie look.

I love this memo/card holder. It is a tall spinner with a crown on top. You can do so many fun things with this.

These wish tickets are great. There are 100 in a roll. I used these tickets when I made a wish book for my stepdaughters baby shower. It turned out so cute. I would also be fun to make a book for a bridal shower or a birthday part. You have all the guest right a wish on the back of the ticket for the guest of honor.

Love is in the air at Ever After Scrapbook Store. I just did the store window into Valentines Day. Here are some photo's of the props I made for my window display. I hung some swirly glittery hearts from a vintage iron hanging decorative piece.
I love using old frames for projects. They add that finishing touch. Here I covered some chip board die cuts with paper and I used rub-ons and silver leafing to create the look of LOVE

A big fashion trend in Japan is Gothic Lolita. You can see the trend on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka. Victorian inspired-the ruffles, and littlle kids style clothing-The Harajuku girls love this look. You also see this trend in the japanese comics. Not quite made it to the states-slowly this trend is making its way around.

Getting ready for another Grandaughter. For the baby shower I thought I'd make a special little book for the guest to write wishes to Reeoh. I used my friend Mara Johnson's die cuts, which she designed and the rubons she designed. The paper is from K&Co. and I used bailing wire to make the binding. The wish tickers I sell at Ever After Scrapbooks store. If I don't say so myself I thought it turned out pretty cute.
